Your delivery is excellent. The way you work with the camera is also very good. You are extremely comfortable in front of a camera. You're voice is easy to listen to as well. One of the challenges of video on the web is maintaining audience attention just using the spoken word. With the kind of information you share, I suggest the video initially be used to highlight a point or two from your regular post (written) which is more detailed. I would start off with shorter clips, videos no more than 120 seconds for now. It's the old school – talking head – that 'loses' audience attention – no matter how well the information is delivered or how good the info is (but let me emphasize, this was really good, and it was a well-crafted 4 minutes plus, too – good job.) I hope you continue with the video and the written posts. The bit about now sharing your new dream is very important … not only for the reasons you mention but because, even when the listener is supportive, it dissipates your own energy. The act of telling it drains away some of the creative tension that should be used to plan, act and make it happen.

This is so true. I once shared my dream of a designing a certain product line to a "friend" and it instantly took the wind out of my sails. I slowly parted from that person. I keep things to myself now. No one is going to kill my dreams anymore.

I actually like the writing better. This is because as you sound as though you need time to write & tighten & you like it, I need time to "get" what you're saying & go back & read again if I need to do so. When you're talking I sometimes don't follow or it goes by too fast for me & I find I've missed something. I like the poetry of your writing, too.

After a day of just reading blog after blog you kind of get tired, so watching a video is a nice break from reading and you are still getting your message out there. Great V blog Cynthia! When we dream, we smell it, we taste it, and see ourselves acting it out to a "T" don't we? Though we also have to remember to have the willingness to be open to different avenues that may also show itself along the way. I've learnt that in life, the things that we 'think' we don't need or need to do wind up being the very things we need the most! This also applies to our dreams.. : )
